Woodcliff Lake occupies approximately 3.6 miles of the Pascack Valley area and hosts a small population of nearly 5,800, according to the 2010 Census. The upscale residential community consists almost entirely of single-family homes on lots of at least 15,000 square feet. The town is also home the BMW North American Headquarters. Originally incorporated in 1894 as “Borough of Woodcliff”, the town name was changed to match that of the local post office, which only incorporated “Lake” after the creation of the reservoir within the town in 1910. In the past 50 years, Woodcliff Lake has seen intense development but remains a borough dedicated to its community and history.
